Aymone Poletti was born in Sorengo (Lugano) in 1978.

Artist, curator, her works have been shown at solo and group expositions, both in Switzerland and abroad, since 2000. She has won several selections on the occasion of exhibitions dedicated to young talents and a bursary from the city of Lugano (Switzerland).

After achieving the scientific maturity at the Diocesano Pio XII high school, she studied in Mendrisio where she graduated from the Accademia di Architettura, tutored among others by architects Aurelio Galfetti, Alfredo Pini and Peter Zumthor. In the same period she followed the art courses held by Harald Szeemann and the design courses held by Antonio Citterio and Bruno Monguzzi. She later graduated from the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Lugano with a master in intercultural communication and in Arts Management with a specialization in contemporary arts and media from ZHAW in Winterthur. She founded and manages since 2007 the art gallery "spazio78" in Lugano.

She has been an active member of Visarte since 2011 and a "resident artist" at the "Cité des Art" in Paris since the first semester of 2015.

Her works are displayed both in public and private collections, in Switzerland and abroad.

Aymone Poletti, architecte de formation, est née à Lugano (Suisse) en 1978.

Peintre e commissaire d’exposition depuis 2000, elle a gagné différentes sélections d’artiste pour des expositions de jeunes talents e un prix-bourse d’étude de la part de la ville de Lugano.

Membre actif pour Visarte Ticino, pendant le premier semestre de 2015 elle a été “artiste en résidence” à la Cité Internationale des Arts de Paris.

Ses oeuvres se trouvent dans des collections publiques et privées en Suisse et à l’étranger.

Aymone Poletti ist 1978 in Lugano geboren (Schweiz, Kanton Tessin).

Sie ist Künstlerin und Kuratorin und stellt seit 2000 ihre Kunstwerke in der Schweiz und im Ausland professionell aus. 

 

An der Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio hat sie Architektur studiert, u.A. mit bedeutenden Architekten wie Peter Zumthor, Aurelio Galfetti, Alfredo Pini, Panos Koulermos und Peter Frampton. Gleichzeitig nahm Sie Kunstunterricht mit Harald Szeeman und Designkurse mit Antonio Citterio und Bruno Monguzzi.

Nachdem Sie 2003 ihr Diplom in Architektur erhalten hatte, absolvierte Sie ein Jahr später ein Master in Interkultureller Kommunikation an der Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, welches sie 2005 erfolgreich abschliesst; ein paar Jahre später vervollständigt sie ihre akademische und berufliche Ausbildung an der ZHAW in Winterthur mit einem Masterkurs in Arts Management. Von der Stadt Lugano hat Sie u.A. eine Studienprämie erhalten, und diverse Selektionen für Nachwuchstalente gewonnen. Sie ist aktiv Mitglied der Vereinigung Visarte Tessin ; 2015 residiert Sie im ersten Halbjahr als Künstlerin in der Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.

Ihre Werke befinden sich in privaten wie auch in öffentlichen Sammlungen, in der Schweiz und im Ausland.
